The Diabetes and Endocrinology Center provides a comprehensive range of services for patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, thyroid cancer, pituitary disorders, gonadal disorders, osteoporosis and bone & mineral disorders.  The center offers a multidisciplinary approach to care provided by Dr. Shrestha and his staff. Patients are taught the importance of preventative medicine through a patient centered team approach. Dr. Shrestha’ role in treating complicated diabetes is pivotal in the Diabetic limb Salvage team effort. Osteoporosis is treated at the center via bisphosphonate infusions as a new alternative to daily or monthly oral treatment regimens.
